Your Booking:

 

• Full payment is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise specified in the activity description. 

• You must be aged 18 years or older to book our activities. Under 18 year olds may attend if their parent/guardian is also booked on to the activity. Some activities may have to be tailored for them to be suitable for younger participants.

• After booking, you will receive a participation consent form that must be completed before the day of your activity.

Cancellations & Amendments:

​

• To cancel your booking, you must contact us by email or telephone.

• Cancellations with more than 4 weeks before the activity date will be refunded in full.

• Cancellations with less than 4 weeks before the activity date are not refundable. We may be able to transfer your activity to another participant or rearrange the date of the activity but this is not guaranteed, we reserve the right to make a final decision.

• Booking amendments fall under the same terms as cancellations unless explicit exception is granted by us.

• In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking, due to unforeseen circumstances or dangerous weather conditions for example, we will either offer an alternative activity, a full refund or an alternative date for your activity. We do not take liability for any other costs to you in the case of us cancelling your booking.

Risk & Insurance:

• Our activities including hill walking, mountain walking, rock climbing, indoor climbing, bouldering and scrambling are potentially dangerous and do carry a level of risk to you. "The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions."

• We hold a public liability insurance policy, however, you are advised to take out your own insurance to cover cancellation, loss/damage of property or personal accident.
